The 50 mm base aluminium extrusions are normally used as crosspieces. But the wide range of sizes available allows for a huge variety of different uses.
Heavy duty aluminium extrusions are also frequently used as crosspieces. Their high load-bearing capacity and low weight allow virtually unlimited application possibilities!
50 mm base aluminium face and corner extrusions, for example, are used wherever closed surfaces are required. This gives the structures a visually tidier appearance and simultaneously minimises the possibility of dirt accumulation.
Double-sided and angle aluminium profiles are ideal for the installation of claddings of all kinds on structures with several closed sides, as well as for elegantly designed applications.
The 50 mm base extrusion, closed on one side and with arranged grooves, perfectly supports flat elements, particularly solar panels that are difficult to position. Opening the profile groove, inserting the gasket cord, introducing the flat element and assembling the frame is the easiest way to create stable structures supporting panels up to 8 mm thick.
Lastly, the 50x100 face extrusion has a large internal cavity that can be used to channel industrial fluids (air, gas, water, oil, etc.) or to pass the return belt of a double-belt conveyor. The closed face side of this anodised aluminium profile blocks dirt, but still allows elements to be applied at any point thanks to the covered guide for the threaded plates.
