Linear modules with toothed belt drive

Belt-driver axes require less maintenance and have the advantage of a smooth, vibration-free drive with high load and dynamic performance.
With the drive unit stationary, the moving mass is reduced and the need for special catenaries is avoided.

TOOTHED PULLEYS, DRIVES AND DUCTS

Manufactured in two version: aluminium alloy 6082 and steel shrink bushing, for self- aligning inclined-tooth belts, or C40 steel with anti-oxidant treatment and polyurethane belt coupling teeth with reduced backlash.

Supported by large bearings, they are suitable to withstand high stresses, e.g. for multi-carriage drive,  with alternating movements without backlash..

TOOTHED BELTS

With a standard "Super Torque" S and "V" profile, they are made of wear-resistant polyurethane with reinforced, highly flexible steel strands inside, offering high longitudinal stiffness and less elongation. Resistant to greases, oils and solvents, they can work at temperatures from –20°C to +80°C. 
The tooth profile is designed to achieve progressive meshing, has a reduced polygonal effect, produces less vibration and achieves greater transmissible power. Available according to linear axes in two versions:

  • Transverse toothing
  • Bihelical toothing (self-aligning inclination, only in the 50 mm size)

The toothed belts are made of wear-resistant polyurethane, reinforced with high-strength steel cords inside, preventing any permanent elongation over time.

Additionally, they are resistant to grease, oil, and gasoline, and can operate at temperatures ranging from -30°C to +80°C.

The belt is attached to the plate via a hook-type support.

Belt maintenance does not require disassembly of the equipment on the plate.
