Mecline® linear screw modules

Linear screw modules are characterised by high stiffness and relative and absolute positioning accuracy. The excellent axial thrust capabilities and high smoothness represent the best technical compromise in terms of precision and load.
The direct coupling of the motor, thanks to the combined roller friction principle between the guide rails and the screw, allows for low torques, thus the size, of the applied motors.

Ball Screw Linear Actuator

We design complete structures with ball screw linear actuators. This type of actuator is precise, rigid, and compact, featuring a ball screw drive.

These characteristics enable high positioning accuracy throughout all processing phases, delivering high performance levels and repeatability within 5 μm.

Ball screw linear actuators provide exceptional positioning precision. They utilize precision-rolled ball screws with either preloaded or non-preloaded ball nuts, depending on the model.

Thanks to the ball screw and guide technology, these actuators ensures outstanding performance, including:

  • High axial thrust with precise positioning
  • High mechanical efficiency
  • Low wear
  • Low resistance to movement
  • High speed (for long-lead ball screws)

Main Applications:

  • Production and assembly lines
  • Industrial machinery
