Meccania linear actuators and cartesian robots

Customization is the key element of Meccania's work: applications are optimized upon request, based on feasibility studies. All systems are tailored to meet any industrial automation needs. Meccania's multi-axis handling systems, with belt, rack, screw, and linear motor drive, are ideal for competitive or precision solutions, such as 3D packaging gantries or for high loads and high dynamics.

All linear modules are made from robust, high-performance Mecline® profiles, designed and produced by Meccania. Up to 12 meters long, they are designed for multiple applications and long strokes. The profiles can be joined to reach high strokes and lengths, and they can be configured with a wide range of accessories such as fall protection brakes, shutters, cams, support guides, gas decelerators, automatic lubrication units, and more.

Meccania's linear axes provide positioning precision and repeatability (up to ± 0.03 mm), thanks to machined guideways and racks, as well as high-performance pinions/belts with inclined teeth. The sliding system operates on ground rails and roller shoes, or rails and ball recirculation shoes with lubrication reservoirs, also available in anti-corrosion versions.

Precision is achieved through machining of the profiles, ensuring perfect parallelism and orthogonality between the axis and the plane of the sliding ball recirculation shoes and end supports.

The screw modules have lengths depending on the availability of screws and intermediate sliding supports, and feature rolled screws in IT 7 and IT 5 classes, or ground screws upon request. They are rigid and precise, ensuring high stability, excellent load capacity, and repeatability.
