Meccania linear axes provide positioning precision and repeatability (up to ± 0.03 mm), thanks to machined guideways and rack and pinion systems with high-performance bevel teeth.

Customization is the key element of Meccania's work: applications are optimized upon request, based on feasibility studies. The collaboration with the customer is essential, aiming to build both a constructive dialogue and an exchange of information for shared design. Another goal of Meccania is to provide a support and technical assistance service that meets customers' demands in terms of quality and reliability.

Meccania's multi-axis motion systems, with belt, rack, screw, and linear motor drives, are ideal for competitive or precision solutions such as gantries for 3D packaging or for high loads and high dynamics.

Excellent design and performance

The high performance of Meccania's linear modules comes from the innovative design of the Mecline profiles: up to 12 meters long, they are designed for multiple applications and long strokes. The profiles can be joined together to achieve higher strokes and lengths, exceeding 30 meters for some models. A wide range of accessories, such as anti-fall safety brakes, seals, cams, support rails, gas decelerators, and automatic lubrication units, makes them unique and adaptable to customer needs.

Meccania's linear axes provide positioning precision and repeatability (up to ± 0.03 mm), thanks to machined guideways and racks, as well as high-performance bevel gear pinions and belts. The sliding system is based on ground guides and roller shoes, or guides and ball recirculating shoes with lubrication tanks, also available in anti-corrosion versions.

The precision is achieved through machining of the profile, ensuring perfect parallelism and orthogonality between the axis and the plane of movement of the ball recirculating shoes and end supports.

For various applications

The screw modules have variable lengths and strokes to the millimeter and use rolled screws in class IT 7 and IT 5, or ground upon request. The combinations of diameters and pitches allow for a wide range of applications with different load capacities and dynamic conditions. The screw modules are linear axes that combine excellent rigidity, precision, and thrust capability.
